A Patriotic Journey To Wagah Border On Inddependence Day Celebration | Alok Bhartia

Alok Bhartia | Independence day Journey

Alok Bhartia describes the 71st Independence Day celebration at Wagah Border as a spectacular display of power and patriotism. The Indian and Pakistani security forces exchanged sweets and greetings while the people of both countries waited patiently for the lowering of flags ceremony. This daily ceremony features hard marches, foot slamming maneuvers and aggressive expressions. The South Asian rivals try to intimidate each other with sudden moves and long mustaches. The sunset throws golden hues on the soldiers and the crowd. Everyone in the audience screams, cheering the men in uniform.

This practice started in 1959, which was 12 years after independence. The Pakistani pavilion, the Attari Border has the same excitement and enthusiasm as the Indian side. Both border sections are a part of the Grand Trunk Road, an ancient trade route from the Mauryan Age, connecting Chittagong to Kabul. Alok Bhartia is considering a long hike on foot through the Grand Trunk Road. He will have to cover a total length of 2,500 km. Alok Bhartia Alok Bhartia Alok Bhartia Alok Bhartia Alok Bhartia
This Independence Day, school children performed cultural programs on regional folk songs and instilled nationalism in the audience with their patriotic performances. BSF Director General, KK Sharma attended the event and motivated the audience and the jawans present. Moreover, this time, Pakistan boasted a taller flag, the Parcham-e-Sitāra-o-Hilāl. The flag was 400-feet tall with dimensions of 120X180 feet. Their flag was hoisted by the Pakistan Army chief.Alok Bhartia Alok Bhartia Alok Bhartia Alok Bhartia Alok Bhartia
Alok Bhartia reckons it was one of the best trips he had after such a long time. The fear of a terrorist attack did not deter the people who came from far-off places in India, although on 2 November 2014, 60 people were murdered by coward Islamic forces on the Pakistani side. Alok Bhartia also hopes that India and Pakistan resolve their differences amicably so that he can enjoy the beating retreat again and again.Alok Bhartia Alok Bhartia Alok Bhartia Alok Bhartia Alok Bhartia
